Alisa has more than 17 years’ experience in the nonprofit and foundation areas. She has worked in a variety of capacities including annual campaigns, capital campaigns, database management, marketing & communications, volunteer management, finance, and administration. Alisa has worked in the areas of healthcare, education, community, and the faith-based community.
Originally from Southern California, she has her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Business from UCLA in Los Angeles, California. She holds certificates from nonprofit programs including the University of St. Thomas’ Center for Nonprofit Management (Fund Raising/Fund Development Certificate Series) and the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy’s Fundraising School. She is also successfully completed the University of St. Thomas’ 2009 Institute for Executive Director Leadership.
Ms. Bell has lived in Woodbury, Minnesota since May 1996. She has served as a volunteer for several years at the Woodbury Community Church, both as an Elder on the Board of Directors in areas of Missions and Youth, and as a member of the Pastoral Search Committee. She now volunteers as her church’s liaison to the Woodbury Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf and frequently volunteers at her daughter’s school. She has also served as Vice Chair and Director of Publications for the Woodbury Area Prayer Breakfast.
She and her husband, Richard, live in Woodbury, Minnesota with their daughter, Raelyn, who attends St. Croix Montessori in Stillwater.
